Challenging Task №8
Good afternoon, dear friends!
It`s high time to tell you about the Challenging № 8 Task of the week. The task was to shout "Bravo!" in the theatre. From the previous story you already know that I`m a devoted theatre-goer. Today I`d like to continue my stories about ballet adventures))
I have a little fear connected with theatres: for me it`s very embarrassing to shout "Bravo!" at the end of the perfomance. I always want to do it, because I want to express my admiration and to please the dancers. But I just can`t bring myself to do it! As a rule, men shout "Bravo!" VERY loudly. And I think for them it`s quite alright. I`m always scared to attract attention, to be loud and very emotional in public. But I adore ballet perfomances, so I decided that shouting "Bravo!" is absolutely necessary for me)) I`d like to learn how to do it without this feeling of embarrassment. You know that one can`t learn to do anything without practice, so I included this step in my List of Frightening Behaviours.
I went to see the most romantic and tragic ballet ever - "Romeo and Juliet". It`s one of my favourite ballets. It`s an incredible mixture of immortal love story by Shakespeare, solemn famous music by S. Prokofiev and brilliant choreography by O. Vinogradov. Beautiful dancers, their emotions and passion bring my eyes to tears all the time! And this time wasn`t an exception. It was pure beauty, love and death on stage!
At the end of the perfomance everyone was apllauding like mad)) So do I! I was so impressed, inspired and delighted, and I shouted "BRAVO!". Of course, it wasn`t very loud, because still I was a bit scared) But it was natural and full of emotions and energy. I think it`s the most important thing. It`s already a huge step for me! I liked this feeling of adrenaline and unity with the rest of the audience. Everyone was shouting and applauding, all people wanted to share their exaltation and happiness! It was great! That is what art was made for. It was a perfect evening and a perfect Task № 8))

Very exciting story! I`m so happy for you that you did it. You always told me that you were afraid of shouting "BRAVO!" in the theathre and I wanted you to overcome this fear:) The reason for that was that the theatre is your home from home and there should be no fears and no things that uset you. Bravo!
