Challenging Task №3
Good morning, everyone!
I hope you remember that every week I have to complete one task from my list of frightening behaviours. I`ve already completed two tasks and now it`s the high time for the third one.
The challenge of this week is to pay by card in the shop. I think I should explain this to you, because it sounds really strange)) I know that it`s weird in the 21st century, but I prefer having all my money in cash. I just don`t know why, but this way of keeping money seems easier and safier for me. I don`t like paying by card in shops, it`s always kind of a stress! I`m afraid that I`ll forget the secret code or that I`ll use the card in a wrong way and everybody`ll wait for me. It`s a very strange fear, but it`s the part of me and my life)) I understand that paying by card is more convenient and quicker. So I decided to get rid of my fear of cards))) I found an instruction how to pay by card in a proper way on the Internet. I read it carefully and went to the supermarket with my friend Nastya))
I wanted to buy the ingredients for a delicious apple pie. So I took eggs, apples, butter, flour and sugar. I also took coffee and milk. I was a bit nervous, but I used my card without any problems (thanks to detailed instruction!) I didn`t forget anything and I managed to insert the card into the terminal properly. It wasn`t scary at all! Why do I have such stupid problems in my life? 😁 But still it was a relief for me! I decided to use my cards more frequent, to be at 100 % self-confident. And my apple pie was outstanding!

Hi, Ann! I remember that day when you told me about this very fear, and I was really surprised! How can you be afraid of such a thing when you can easily talk to strangers on the street or call them (you succeed in overcoming this fear!) :D But then I realized that we all have such fears that seem very odd to people. And there`s nothing to be ashamed or afraid of. I`m glad that you paid by card and hope that you`ll keep doing this every time you have such an opportunity!^^
